Research Interests
My current lines of research is on understanding the evolution of segmental duplications along the primate lineage. However, I am also interested in the process of recombination and during my PhD I was working on the understanding of the effect of chromosomal rearrangements over evolutionary rates in primates (specially centered on speciation).
