Project Overview
Genomic variation among great apes has not yet been fully explored, however its study is crucial for species conservation and fully understanding hominid evolution. 
In this project, we sequenced to high coverage a total of 79 wild- and captive-born individuals representing all six great ape species and 10 subspecies across the African continent and Southeast Asia.
